Bill Gates took to Twitter to announce that he and his wife Melinda Gates are getting divorced. Sighting that they no longer feel like they can grow together.
In the joint statement released on twitter, the couple stated that they will continue to work together on their foundation.
Bill and Melinda got married in 1994 and they have 3 children together.
The joint statement was very brief and didn't get into detail as to why the couple decided to part ways. They have asked for privacy and also turned off replies on the tweet announcing the divorce.
